A PS3

After you spent $400 on a PS3 console a few weeks later it causes problems. Try not to get to upset there are some things you can do to fix it. If you're not electronically gifted, stay away from it. Send it back to Sony for $150. But if not here are a few tricks to repair ps3.

Step one

When you go to turn on your game and you get the blinking red light there is a definite issue. First before you panic, try to turn the game off for one minute or two and then turn it back on. Lots of the time if you catch it early it could be fixed by this simple step.

Secondly

Be careful as not to damage anything but try and take out the hard drive. Leave it out for at least an hour. This will let it cool down. Alright now that it's been an hour go ahead and place the hard drive back in its place.

It's not reading the discs.

When you are unable to read the disc it is most likely the laser. The laser is kind of hard to clean so again be very careful. Remove a couple of screws under the outer shell. Their may be a couple of layers to remove. The laser should be visible do not touch it. Gently wipe it clean with a Q-tip. Pour just a little alcohol on the Q-tip, try not to soak it.

There is no power to it.

Unfortunately you may need to replace the power supply. Do a Google search for a power supply you may find one for cheap. If you heard a loud pop sound while playing then most likely a fuse blew. Take the fuse out of the supply and bring it to any electronic store. They will be able to replace that for you.

Lastly
